Plastic control head sun cover. The plastic control head sun cover provides protection for the sp-36 when it is not in use, from water, rain, dirt, grime and other contaminants. It also protects the plastic material of the sp-36 case and the internal lcd panel from the sun's uv rays. It is designed to be used when the sp-36 has been mounted using a bracket mount kit or with a surface mount bezel kit. The cover is installed simply by pushing it onto the sp-36. There is no retention mechanism - it is designed to be a tight fit, so that it is held onto the sp-36 by a combination of friction and air pressure; the bump in the lower right corner is for clearance over the sp-36 course change knob.
