Made of tempered stainless steel with an offset thin kerf that makes for a "fine finished cut", producing a smooth cut profile that is idea for snow study work. Ideal for general purpose backcountry tasks such as cutting test columns, isolating Rutschblocks, cutting cornices and snow study work. The handles of the saw can be connected to the Brooks-Range Backcountry Shovel shaft as well as telescoping ski poles to increase the reach.
